ReplyDeleteThe photo on the cover was taken in Detroit in the area known as "Paradise Valley", a largely Black neighborhood east of downtown. Much if it was removed for a highway in the early 1960's. The church in the background is St. Albertus (still standing) in the Polish neighborhood.
